Depressive States [COLORED]

Today I am defeated, as if I knew the truth.
Today I am clear-minded, as if I were about to die
And had no more kinship with things
Than a goodbye, this building and this side of the street becoming
A long row of train carriages, and a whistle departing
From inside my head,
And a jolt of my nerves and a creak of bones as we go.


The joy of life fading away from you
The everyday anguish and wiping as you go to sleep
The ever present knot in the throat when you swallow
All the days the same in tones of grey

This week I was feeling more depressed and sad than usual so I started working on this image, a bit outside of my usual political themes, but defetively one of the images I spent more time thinking and working on, although most of times I start a work I already know how I want it to end up I just have to find the right stock photos.

Anyway I'm used to feel like this as I am always unsatisfied and used to a desperate and needy kind of love and all the traumas etc... but to be an artist we all have to be fucked up haven't we?
